IVC at the Spitting Feathers beer festival

Saturday 21st July 2013 was the Spitting Feathers beer festival at Waverton. This is a regular feature of the IVC summer programme as while admittedly we’re rarely ones to shy away from a beer festival, this one truly is “the beer festival for people who don’t do beer festivals”. A dozen of us enjoyed great live bands, a lovely setting on a farm with chickens and dogs running about, and genuinely excellent and very local beer! There were a couple of ciders that went down well by those less keen on the beer and we took a picnic which we ate in the garden. It has a really relaxed friendly atmosphere, well worth the trip out of town! Camping was available and fun too.
